In a big robbery in Faisalabad, robbers looted 2,21,00,000 rupees in cash from a bedsheet trader from outside the bank on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the robbery took place outside Alfalah Bank in the Tata Bazar area of Thana Factory Area.
The channel report said Aslam, an employee of the bedsheet showroom was taking cash of Rs22.1 million from the bank, meanwhile, two motorcycle-riding dacoits looted the amount and runaway.
Factory Area police reached the spot and started an investigation. Faisalabad CPO Usman Akram Gondal took notice of the dacoity and sought a report from SP Iqbal Town.
He also issued orders to catch the robbers as soon as possible by using modern technology.
