Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

They held a detailed discussion on the professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Navy.

The Naval Chief apprised the Prime Minister about the strategy of manufacturing weapons and warships for the Pakistan Navy at the local level.

He also informed the Prime Minister about ongoing measures to make Pakistan self-reliant in terms of defence and the acquisition of modern technology.
