Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan participated in a basketball match with several senior colleagues at the Presidential Complex, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.  

In a video clip that went viral on social media Erdogan appears in it in question handling the ball perfectly, running from one end of the field to the other, scoring, and having fun like a… small child, with teammates and opponents.

Earlier, Tayyip Erdoğan called on citizens to pick up sports for better life and health.

"Doing sports is very important for good health. I try to do sports at least three days a week," wrote Erdoğan on social media as he highlighted the importance of being active for a healthy lifestyle.
