Former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has taken notice of electricity loadshedding in many Sindh cities on the eve of Eidul Azha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Major cities of Larkana, Dadu, Shahdadkot, Qambar, Shikarpur and other areas have been experiencing repeated power outages.

Asif Zardari directed Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmad Sheikh to immediately contact federal secretary power division to sort out the issue.

The minister himself reached the affected areas to supervise the restoration of electricity which was suspended after a power pole collapsed disrupting the transmission system.

The minister said repair work is going in full speed and it is hoped that the power supply will be restored in all districts by evening.
