Driver exposes inside story of Pervaiz Elahi's arrest

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi's driver exposed the secret destination of his lord to the police.
The 24News HD TV Channel in its exclusive inside story of the arrest of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that his driver gave a statement to the police that his master was fleeing to Gilgit-Baltistan.
The channel report said Pervaiz Elahi was about to escape with the support of his family and children in a caravan of four cars including a bulletproof vehicle of him.
Children and women were sitting in two vehicles, which were also checked by the police but the bulletproof car's driver denied to open the door for checking.
The police got suspicious when the door was not opened and tried to break the window glass of the car.
Pervaiz Elahi meanwhile came out to the bulletproof car. When the Police arrested him, he made resistance to go police station in a police vehicle and insisted to go in his own car.
Later, the police shifted him to the Anti-Corruption Headquarters Lahore in an official vehicle.
Case against Elahi
The channel report said a case has been registered against 9 people including Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi at the Anti-Corruption Directorate Police Station.
Names of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi, Mahr Azmat, XEN Highway Department Gujran Muhammad Asif Rathore, SDO Highway Department Muhammad Amir Shah, Sub Engineer Tariq Parvez, Government Contractor Muhammad Ansar, and Government Contractor Saifullah Mangat are included in the FIR.
As per the registered case against them, they were involved in receiving bribes and kickbacks by approving various schemes and projects as the Chief Minister and causing losses of Rs 229.3 million.
There are four projects of the Gujrat district mentioned in the FIR.
