Gauhar Bano Qureshi, daughter of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, has said that he reiterates his resolve to stand by ex-PM Imran Khan.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi is among the PTI office-bearers arrested in connection with the May 9 riots.

The PTI activists took to the streets to vent their spleen over the arrest of ex-PM Imran Khan in a corruption case last month.

They damaged public property, state assets and sensitive installations.

The angry protesters stormed GHQ in Rawalpindi, Corps Commander House in Lahore and Pakistan Radio Station in Peshawar. Innocent lives were lost and the riots left a trail of destruction.
