Info minister lists coalition government’s feats

The priority of the coalition government and the prime minister is political and economic stability in the country, Federal Information Minister  Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday.

Addressing a press conference, the information minister took a swipe at the PTI government for ruining the national economy and creating political instability.

She said: “The PTI government played with the economy. The PTI government broke the agreement with the IMF.

“We are clearing the mess created by the PTI government. In 2018, the country was handed over to an incapable person.”

The minister listed the coalition government’s feats saying: “Effort to restore political and economic stability are bearing fruit and hatred and anarchy seems to be ending. Economic indicators are improving.”

She added: “The prices of petrol, LPG and food items are decreasing. The price of flour has decreased by Rs35-40 per kg. The price of cooking oil has been reduced by Rs60-70.

She continued: “The coalition government is determined to provide relief to the people. The PM has directed strict action against hoarders.

“Nawaz Sharif put an end to terrorism and load-shedding. We brought down inflation from 16 to 2.6 per cent in 5 years.”
