Sepoy Saqib Ur Rehman who embraced Shahadat during the Polio team rescue operation in North Waziristan yesterday was buried in Mardan with full military honours on Thursday.
According to the details, the funeral prayers of martyr Saqib Ur Rehman, (age 25 years), a resident of District Mardan was offered twice (first in Bannu and then in Mardan).
Sepoy Saqib Ur Rehman embraced Shahadat on 31 May 2023 while fighting gallantly against terrorists during an attack on
Polio team in North Waziristan.
A large number of serving and retired officers and soldiers, civil government officials, relatives of the martyr and the public attended the funeral prayer.
