Moonis Elahi, son of the arrested President of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Thursday confirmed that despite these round-ups, they will stick with the party.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Moonis Elahi gave a reaction over the arrest of his father on his official Twitter account.
Moonis said in his tweet that the series of round-ups started in January and his father had told me that even if he is arrested, they have to support the party chairman.
He mentioned in the tweet that three days ago, his father and mother also repeated the same stance again.
However, he stated that the police have arrested my father on false charges.
He was determined that they are and will continue their affiliation with the PTI with God willing.
In the tweet, Moonis also showed some pics of broken screen glasses of the car attacked by the police to arrest his father in Gulberg on Thursday evening.
