People in Karachi have exploded into anger over the rise of milk prices in the city to Rs230 per litre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

People say that inflation has increased so much that now it is difficult for them to even buy milk.

Retailers, too, who are also worried over soaring milk prices, say they have often altercation with buyers over prices.

They complain that the owners of dairy farms also exert pressure on them.

They further say that the district administration, without taking into account the fact that they have not increased milk rates, fines them and even sends them to jail.
