PPP central Punjab leader meets Asif Zardari amid PTI exodus

PML-N leader from Khanewal joins PPP

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Punjab leader Faisal Mir called on the party’s co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

“God willing, the chief minister of Punjab will be of the PPP in the next elections after 1977,” Faisal Mir said.

“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be the next prime minister,” he added.

“I am grateful to the former president for his kindness in the meeting,” he expressed gratitude.

“Asif Ali Zardari will fulfil the promise of Shaheed Bhutto and Shaheed Bibi in any case,” he stated.

PML-N leader from Khanewal joins PPP

Meanwhile, senior Vice President Muslim League-Nawaz, Khanewal Chapter, Rana Abdul Rehman met with former president and Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari in Lahore and announced joining the PPP, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Former Punjab governor and President PPP South Punjab Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mehmood, party General Secretary Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and PPP Chief Coordinator South Punjab Abdul Qadir Shaheen were also present on the occasion.
