KP governor hands over cheques of martyrs, injured persons of Bajaur Blast to JUI

Maulana Fazlur Rehman separately announces financial assistance for martyrs and injured people

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor handed over the cheques for financial assistance to the martyrs and injured persons of the Bajaur Suicide Bomb Blast tragedy to the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) on Thursday.
KP Governor Ghulam Ali handed over all the checks to JUI leader Maulana Abdul Rasheed, worth Rs2.5 million for each martyr and Rs one million for each injured person.
The chief of the ruling alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement and Ameer of the JUI, Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with KP Governor Ghulam Ali visited the bomb-hit district of Bajaur. Maulana Jamaluddin and Maulana Ata-ul-Haq were also accompanied by him.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman addressed the families of the martyrs in Jirga Hall in Bajaur and announced an aid of half a million rupees for the martyrs and three lakh rupees for the injured persons.
He said they are leaving the matter of cruelty and brutality on our martyrs to their God as they do not believe in gun or revenge politics.
Maulana Fazl said it is the responsibility of the state to take revenge from those who attacked the people of Bajaur as the blast was a failure of security forces.
JUI chief said there is a need to make a strategy against terrorism, for which they called a Jirga of Pashtuns tomorrow on Friday.
The coalition partner of the sitting government also said that he raised his voice on the massacre of scholars of Bajaur everywhere on international platforms and the United Nations, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia have strongly condemned the Bajaur tragedy.
He also said that they are doing a peaceful political struggle in this country and they have no enmity with any organization or group.
