Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif is all set to make a long-anticipated return to Pakistan in early August, according to reliable sources.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the top leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has reached a unanimous decision after extensive consultations, paving the way for his triumphant homecoming.

The return comes as a strategic move ahead of the country's upcoming elections.

Sources within the party have disclosed that Nawaz Sharif, along with his key political allies, is currently in London, where he has been staying for some time.

However, in a planned move, the ex-Prime Minister will conclude his London sojourn by the end of July and make his way back to Pakistan. Among those accompanying him on this crucial return journey will be his daughter, Maryam Nawaz, and other prominent party members.

It is speculated that Nawaz Sharif's homecoming in the first 15 days of August will mark a significant turning point in Pakistan's political landscape. The PML-N leader is expected to take charge of his party's election campaign, infusing new vigour and direction into the political fray.

Nawaz Sharif's return holds immense importance for both his supporters and critics. With a substantial voter base, his reentry is anticipated to rejuvenate the PML-N and strengthen its position in the upcoming elections. Simultaneously, political rivals and other parties will also be strategizing their moves to counter the impact of his return.

The ex-Prime Minister's political journey has been marked by ups and downs, facing trials and challenges both at home and abroad. Despite this, his appeal among a significant section of the electorate remains unyielding, making him a formidable force in Pakistan's politics.
