The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has announced implementing a new undergraduate policy from the next semester according to which general education courses will be compulsory for all students, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

“Students will be able to earn an associate degree after two years of study,” the vice chancellor said.

“The double major policy has also been implemented in the university. The policy will allow students to pursue degrees in two different subjects,” he added.

The heads of departments have been assigned the responsibility to provide high-quality education.
