Gold prices drop by Rs1600 per tola

After witnessing regular hikes for the last couple of weeks, the gold prices on Saturday again decreased by Rs1600 per tola in the local markets of Pakistan, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.

On June 3, the price of 24K gold per tola decreased by Rs 1600 in line with the downward trend in the international market and it is being traded at Rs 232,400 per tola in the local markets. The price of 10 grams of 24K gold was reduced by Rs 1371 and now sits at Rs 198,388.

Similarly, the gold price for 22-karat was recorded at Rs 213,123 per tola as per the bullion market whereas the price of 22K 10 grams remains at Rs 181,855.

The price of gold in the international market increased by US$27 and now stands at $1,948.

The prices of silver remain constant at Rs 2750 per 24K tola and Rs 2357 for 24K 10 grams.
