Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas held a meeting with Jahangir Khan Tareen in Lahore on Saturday and vowed to stand by him in every thick and thin, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the newsmen after the meeting, Tanveer Ilyas said that good news is on the way for PTI members looking for a position of leadership in other parties.
He maintained “You will hear good news in days to come. Our understanding with Jahangir Tareen is that we will move forward together.”
Responding to a question, Tanveer Ilyas said work was underway regarding the formation of a new party. “There will be no separate group and all people will be together in one place,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jahangir Tareen has intensified to form a new political party and he has called a meeting for consultations in this regard today.
Awn Chaudhry, Mushtaq Langrial and Lala Tahir Randhawa has arrived at the venue in Lahore to attend the meeting.
