PM Shehbaz grieved over loss of lives in India train disaster

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in triple train disaster in India.

In a post uploaded on Twitter Saturday, the prime minister said “Deeply saddened by the loss of hundreds of lives in a train accident in India. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in this tragedy.”

According to media reports, as many as 288 people were killed and over 900 injured in the devastating three-train collision in India.

The prime minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident.
