Historic operation against Dark Web, 300 drug dealers arrested

More than 300 drug dealers have been arrested during the continuing historically largest operation against drug trafficking gangs through the Dark Web monopoly market in several counties in Europe, America and South America.
According to the 24News HD TV channel report, during the operation, 55 criminals have been arrested from England, 153 from America, 52 from Germany, 10 from Holland, 9 from Austria, 5 from France, 2 from Switzerland, 1 from Brazil and Poland.
The report said that 43 million euros (equivalent to Rs13.5 billion) were also recovered from the accused while 850 kg of drugs were seized including 10 kg of LSD, Ecstasy and 43 kg of MDMA pills.
As per the channel report, the operation is still ongoing while the criminals running the dark web monopoly have shut down their network.
The current operation against the Dark Web drug mafia is named "Dubbed SpecTor" by the European Union's international police and is considering the most successful operation in Europol's history.
Europol officials said that the arrested suspects were involved in the purchase and sale of drugs on the dark web and more arrests are expected after getting lists from computers' files sized from the druggist's custody.
Europol Executive Director Catherine said the operation is a message to drug traffickers that international law enforcement has the power and resources to identify and apprehend them.
