Pakistani actress and Tiktoker Janice Tessa revealed the bullying she has encountered on entering the showbiz industry during an interview on Fuchsia.

Janice shared that she had faced massive criticism for her dark skin since she began her journey in the industry. She added that our flawed society is biased that shows more love to fair-skinned people.

Janice Tessa is a new entrant in the Pakistani drama industry who is impressively winning hearts with her strong performance in the drama “Habs” as Zoya. Janice is a film graduate from Lahore who started posting random TikTok videos as a hobby which later got viral on her skilled expressions. Jessa has made her acting debut in Habs lately with a great amount of attention on mainstream media too.

Janice said that she was told in the industry that only girls with fair skin can have lead roles. She also lost the commercial of a telecom brand as they wanted only “white”. Janice said that society as a whole needs to change.
