Dozens of labourers fell ill after consuming toxic food at a private factory near Alipur Chattha area of Wazirabad on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources said that the number of workers affected by food poisoning is said to be more than 100.

The affected workers were rushed to different hospitals in Alipur Chattha, Wazirabad and Gujranwala.

The condition of over 10 workers was stated to be critical.

The number of labourers working in Wazirabad factory is said to be more than 300.
