About-to-be-free prisoner dies of heat in Hafizabad jail

A murder convict died of heart attack in the District Jail Hafizabad on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, a prisoner named Arshad, s/o Ali Muhammad Cheema, was serving his life term in the District Jail, Hafizabad. But he suffered heart attack due to heat and loadshedding in the jail. The poor inmate could not survive the attack and expired.

Reportedly, only two months were left in his jail term.

The prisoner is survived by four daughters and two sons.

According to his heirs, prisoners in the District Jail are out of sorts due to heat and load shedding in the prison facility.
