Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Secretary General Amir Kiani and Central Additional Secretary General Aun Chaudhry met with the party Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen in Lahore on Tuesday and discussed with him the country’s prevailing political situation as well as future strategy of the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Both Kiani and Chaudhry took Tareen into confidence on their recent meetings with different political leaders.

It was decided at the meeting to increase activities of the IPP so that the people could notice it.

Apart from that, the party’s registration with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), membership campaign and other matters also came under discussion at the meeting.

Tareen, on the occasion, hoped that the IPP would display its political muscles in the next general elections.

He also expressed the optimism that the party would become a voice of the people of Pakistan. “Solutions to the issues confronting the country will be suggested in the party’s manifesto,” he said, adding, “The IPP will play a constructive role in the country’s politics.”
