Supreme Court judges get 20% raise in salaries

All Supreme Court judges including Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial got a 20 percent raise in their salaries, reported 24NewsHD TV channe.

The Federal Law Minister issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday after getting approval of the President of Pakistan.

After the enforcement of Salary of Judges of Supreme Court Order 2023, the salary of CJP Umar Ata Bandial has risen to Rs12,29,189 where the salary of a Supreme Court judge will now be Rs11,61,163.

Besides their salaries, the apex court judges enjoy other allowances and perks.
