Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has said the federal government is distributing 100,000 laptops to top-tier students of universities under Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme 2023, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking at a laptop distribution ceremony in Faisalabad on Saturday, the minister said that the PML-N government started several youth empowerment programs including e-libraries and interest-free loans.

He congratulated the students who got laptops on merit.

He said that the laptop scheme was started during the previous PML-N era and now they started several schemes to empower students. “Today is the age of media, technology, and information, without it, we could not run with the time, he said, adding these children will enlighten the name of Pakistan in the future.

The interior minister said that if PML-N got another chance, it would open Danish schools in every tehsil of the country.

“Poor children are getting Aitchison-level education in Danish schools,” he hinted. He said that radicalism and extremism can be eliminated only by promoting education in the country.
