PTI files plea in LHC against ‘illegal detention’ of Imran Khan

The legal team of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has filed a habeas corpus petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the “illegal detention” of party chairman Imran Khan hours after he was taken into custody from his Lahore residence by the Islamabad police on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a post uploaded on twitter, the PTI said “A habeas petition (petition) has been filed in the Lahore High Court against the illegal detention of the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
