Quake felt in Rawalpindi, Islamabad

An earthquake hit the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.

The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 5.8, according to the Seismological Centre.

It added the depth of the underground earthquake was recorded at 196 km and the epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
