Yamaha kicks up motorbike prices by up to Rs29,000

The Yamaha Motor Company (YMC) on Wednesday increased the prices of motorbikes by up to Rs29,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of Yamaha YB125Z was increased by Rs24,500 to Rs380,500 and that of Yamaha YB125Z-DX by Rs26,500 to Rs40,8000.

The price of Yamaha YBR125 was increased by Rs27,500 to Rs419,000 and that of Yamaha (Matt Dark Grey/Matt Orange) YBR125G by Rs29,000 to Rs439,000.

Similarly, the price of Yamaha YBR125G (Red/Black) was increased by Rs29,000 to Rs436,000.

The new prices will be effective from July 5. The company did not give any reason for the price hike.
