Asif Zardari calls meetings of PPP ticket-holders, women wing in Lahore

As part of the preparations for holding a massive rally in Lahore, former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has called separate meetings of party’s National Assembly ticket-holders of 2018 year and the Women Wing in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PPP has decided to hold a mammoth rally in Lahore on June 21 to celebrate Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s 70th birthday.

According to sources, the expected venue of the PPP gathering will be Lahore’s Liberty Chowk.

Asif Zardari and PPP other central and provincial leaders are likely to address the rally.

Keeping in view the rally preparation, Zardari called an urgent meeting of the ticket-holders of 2018 year from Punjab which will be held at Bilawal House at 5:30 pm on Tuesday.

The meeting will also discuss the PPP’s future line of action in Punjab.

Asif Zardari also called a meeting of the PPP Women Wing today.

Samina Ghurki along with Women Wing office-bearers will present their performance report in the meeting.
