A stone-hearted man murdered his maternal grandmother just to loot his own house in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police have arrested the prime accused who staged a drama of dacoity while his two companions made away with half a million cash and jewellery in Qadri Colony of Walton.

The old woman was alone at home as rest of the family had gone to Okara when her grandson Ghulam Abbas along with his two companions staged a robbery drama and killed his granda by strangulating her.

Neighbours called 15 for help and Dophin Force personnel arrested the accused and handed him over to the Factory Area Police Station.
