Four people including three women died and 13 others got injured in a road accident in Paharianwali area of Phalia on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, a fatal collision occurred between a passenger wagon and a dumper in Paharianwali area. As a result, four people including three women died on the spot and 13 other sustained injuries.

The Rescue 1122 officials provided first aid to four of the injured who got minor injuries and then discharged them. However, two injured persons were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Phalia and six severely injured people were referred to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital, Gujrat.

The Rescue officials and police rushed to the scene after getting information of the accident.

The dead included: Van driver, Batool Bibi, Rashida Bibi, and Zahida Parveen.

The people who were boarding the van were residents of Phaley Shah and they were returning home after attending the burial rites of their close relative.
