The Lahore police have registered a case against the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for obstructing the arrest of the PTI chairman by snatching rifles from policemen and disrupting peace, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

More than 10 provisions were included in the First Information Report (FIR) lodged at Race Course police station on the complaint of Station House Officer (SHO) Rehan Anwar.

“We went (to Zaman Park) to arrest the PTI chairman on court orders,” the text of the FIR read.
