Nawaz Sharif to be next PM of Pakistan: Shehbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that Mian Nawaz Sharif will be the next prime minister of the country, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a public rally in Khudian, Kasur district on Sunday, he said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will come back soon and will change the destiny of the country.

He said Nawaz Sharif was the person who took out the country from the darkness of the load shedding.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo, three-time former prime minister, has been living in London since 2019 in self-imposed exile.

PM Shehbaz told the people that three development projects worth Rs263 billion including Lahore- Sahiwal- Bahawalnagar motorway, Ray Mansab Ali Khan interchange on the Lahore-Abdul Hakim motorway, and Taregarh interchange have been inaugurated today.

He said that these projects will bring an economic revolution to the region.  

A large number of people were present at the rally.

Carrying PML-N flags, the activists were chanting slogans, “Sher aik bari phar”.

Prime Minister also expressed regret over the Nawabshah train accident. The incident claimed 34 lives and injured over 80 passengers.   

He said after seeing the rally in Kasur, the exhaustion of 16 months disappeared.

PM recalled that PML-N provided laptops to youth. He said that Pakistan’s atomic journey started in Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s era

 Lauding the services of PML-N, Shahbaz Sharif said that millions of students were given laptops worth billions of rupees during the PML-N's last era.

The night will pass but the list of services of Nawaz Sharif will not end, Shahbaz Sharif adds.

The architect of Dasu Dam is also Nawaz Sharif and he laid the foundation of Diamer Bhasha Dam, he added.

He claimed that the US President offered Nawaz Sharif 5 billion dollars to not explode.
