Seven girls drown in Turbat

In the Kalag stream in Turbat, seven girls drowned in a tragic accident while two were saved by the locals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Police stated that the girls went to the stream for a picnic when one of them was caught in the deep water and the others went in trying to save their friend. The girls, failing to do so, drowned and lost their lives.

The locals saved two girls in critical conditions and retrieved the bodies of the other deceased girls.

The girls were 10 to 17 years in age and they were identified as Fiza Zubair, Faiza Saleem, Mahtab Kareem, Durdana Naeem, Bushra Ghulam, Shireen Nasir and Mahzaib Ashraf.

The bodies were shifted to the hospital by the locals from where, after the medico-legal formalities, they were handed over to their families.

Balochistan CM Abdul Quddus Bizenjo expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident. He said that he is in full support of the affected families. He prayed for the patience of the families and the parted souls. Abdul Quddus Bizenjo assured the families of the survivors that they will be treated well and taken care of.
