Railway track affected by train accident near Nawab Shah and in view of the accident, the railway authorities have changed the train schedule from Lahore to Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Railways Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq instructed divisional superintendents (DS) in Lahore and Karachi to reschedule the trains' schedule.
The federal minister also instructed them to inform all the passengers immediately about changings in the timings of the trains.
Earlier, after the accident, the up track was suspended for other trains.
in the train accident, at least 30 people were killed while more than 60 others were injured when 10 bogies of Hazara Express, coming from Karachi to Havelian, derailed near Sirhari railway station, situated between Nawabshah and Shahzadpur, on Sunday afternoon.
According to rescue officials, the bodies as well as the injured were shifted to People’s Medical Hospital in Nawabshah, while a state of emergency was declared at all nearby hospitals.
