Despite the fact that the rates of yellow metal in the international market decreased, the Pakistani market witnessed a big increase in gold prices on Thursday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats pure gold was heavily increased by Rs1,800 per tola to Rs2,07,800 per tola within a day.

The price of 10 grams of gold of 24 karats also increased by Rs1543 to Rs1,78,155 per 10 grams while the 22 karats of gold traded at Rs1,63,309 per 10 grams.

In the international market on Thursday, the price of gold decreased by US$23 to US$1,905 per ounce.

On the other hand, the price of 24 karats of pure silver were not changed and traded at Rs2,480 per tola and Rs2,126.20 per 10 grams.
