The Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan who was sacked for firing in the red zone of Islamabad has been reinstated on his post again on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan was reinstated by the judicial tribunal of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
A 3-member bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) headed by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani pronounced the decision to reinstate the session judge.
IHC Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri were also part of the three-member judicial tribunal.
The Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan had opened straight fire on the husband of former MPA Abida Raja in the red zone area of Islamabad and the IHC had issued an order to remove him from the post.
