The real owner of the vehicle used by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Niazi to appear in court has been exposed, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Thursday.
According to the report, PTI Chairman Imran Khan appeared at the Lahore High Court in a Toyota Land Cruiser with the vehicle registration number (plate) LEC-12-6161.
When the registration number was checked by the Excise & Taxation Department, it is officially confirmed that the real owner of the vehicle is Moonis Elahi [son of detained President of the PTI and former Cheif Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi).
The Excise & Taxation department also confirmed that Moonis Elahi owned this vehicle 11 years back and got registration of it on September 18, 2012, from Lahore city.
Interestingly, there are different comments in the political circles on whether Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will leave PTI Chairman Imran Khan's side or not.
But, after the fact that Moonis Elahi who is abroad nowadays is one of the facilitators of Imran Khan, the doubt about the Elahi family's affiliation and loyalty to the PTI chairman has cleared.
