The intensity of the storm in the Arabian Sea is likely to lose force from today as the low-pressure system is at a distance of 1,550 km from the Karachi coast, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the Metrological Department cyclone warning, the intensity of the storm in the Arabian Sea is likely to decrease by this evening.

It further said that there is no threat to Pakistan's coastal belt of Sindh and Balochistan.

Earlier, it was expected that the low-pressure system could intensify and turn into a cyclone between June 10 and 11, posing a possible threat to the coastal belt of Sindh, Balochistan, Gujarat (India) and Oman.

However, the intensity of the storm is decreasing now and there is no threat of the potential cyclone named ‘Biparjoy’ by Bangladesh.
