Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman’s legal team went to meet their client in the Attock District jail and was sent back by the authorities without letting them meet Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Advocate Naveed Akram said that they had to get the Power of Attorney and other legal documents signed by the PTI chief for which they came to meet him all the way from Lahore. They had talked to the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent Jail and Additional Home Secretary of Attock but were not allowed to meet their client.

The legal team said that the jail authorities took the documents that needed to be signed and told them that they can come back tomorrow and get the signed documents.

Naveed Akram said that it is their client’s and their legal right and they should be allowed to meet him.
