A plea seeking a rise in electricity prices under quarterly tariff adjustment for April-June 2023 was filed Monday in the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The plea for an increase in electricity prices was filed by the power distribution companies.

The plea demanded permission to collect Rs122.41 billion under the head of capacity charges.
