The Barki police claimed to have nabbed five kidnappers of a 12-year-old girl, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the police, the arrested demanded Rs50 million ransom.

The mastermind is stated to be the neighbour of the girl, Adeel Mushtaq, and the other accused are Adeel Mushtaq, Usman, Nauman and Usman Tariq.

The lawmen arrested them with the help of modern technology.

The Corolla car used in the kidnapping incident, medicine, injections and weapons were recovered.
