Daily allowance for FIA’s Grade 1 to 21 employees doubled

The daily allowance for Grade 1 to 21 employees of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been doubled, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

As per official sources, all the FIA employees were being given a daily allowance as of 2010.

The FIA, like other federal bodies, had demanded an increase in the daily allowance.

After approval, the daily allowance for Class IV employees was increased from Rs200 to Rs496 and the special daily allowance from Rs400 to Rs800.

Similarly, the daily allowance for Grade 5 to 11 employees was increased to Rs624 and the special allowance to Rs880.

Daily allowance for Grade 12 to 16 employees was increased to Rs1,120 and special allowance Rs1,440.

Daily allowance for Grade 17 to 18 employees was increased to Rs2,000 and special allowance Rs2,560.

Daily allowance for Grade 19 to 20 employees was increased to Rs2,480 and special allowance to Rs3,280.

Daily allowance for Grade 21 employees was increased to Rs2,800 and special allowance to Rs4,000.

Daily allowance for Grade 22 employees was increased to Rs2,800 and special allowance to Rs4,800.

All the employees will get a 20-day allowance in salaries.

After approval from the finance ministry, the FIA approved the allowance for all the employees.
