The condition of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who is currently caged in District Jail Attock after having been sentenced to three years in prison in the Toshakhana case a few days ago, deteriorated yesterday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

When former prime minister’s blood pressure was checked, it was recorded at 160/80.

When medical officer examined him, he told him that perhaps it was due to the exercise that he had done which might have disturbed his BP. “Otherwise, I am fine,” he added.

Last night, PTI chairman was served vegetable with bread in the dinner after which he slept. He woke up at 3:00 AM in the morning, offered prayers and then again slept. 

He woke up at 12:00 PM and had a breakfast, which the jail staff had already placed.

On the other hand, security has been tightened inside and outside the jail.
