The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has made a stark comparison between its leader Maryam Nawaz and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, terming the latter devoid of having any guts when it comes to show fortitude and bear misfortunes during his detention period which has just started on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The PML-N shared a post on its X handle (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday in which it showed a letter written by PTI Chairman Imran Khan to the superintendent of the Attock Jail where he is serving his sentence asking him to provide him A Class facilities in the prison as admissible under Pakistan Prison Rules.

While on the other hand, the PML-N showed another hand-written letter by party Vice President Maryam Nawaz in which she flatly refused to apply for better class/facilities during her incarceration in July 2018. Though she was innocent and guiltless, she proved her mettle and bore all misfortunes heaped on her during her jail term.

The PML-N tweeted: “On one hand, the arrogant thief who used to threaten to remove the AC of others by putting his hand on his face, today is demanding the same facilities for himself.

“While, on the other hand, a guiltless woman who bravely endured the hardships of prison and refused to ask for any facilities.”
