The Supreme Court (SC) has returned a petition filed for investigations into the Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) video scandal with objections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

In the objections to the petition filed by Zulfiqar Bhutta Advocate, it was stated that the matter of personal interest in the petition filed under Article 184/3 cannot be heard.

The petitioner did not approach the relevant forum before coming to the Supreme Court.

The issue of public interest has not been explained in the petition.

The petition does not comply with the Supreme Court Rules 1980.
