A woman gave birth to sextuplets at a hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday, but unfortunately five of them expired, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rekha wife of Lachhan, a resident of Kunri area, was brought to Khidmat Khalaq Foundation hospital where she gave birth to six babies.

According to the hospital administration, five of the babies died while the sixth, a girl, which was being kept in ICU for treatment. The mother was alright, the administration added.

The administration said the babies died due to the premature birth.
