Court orders release of 23 TLP workers

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Saturday ordered the release of 23 Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) activists after the prosecution failed to prove their involvement in rioting and arson, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Asri Chaudhary, Muhsin Raza and SK Hayat Advocate represented suspects in the case against whom a case was registered at Chung police station of Lahore in 2021.  

Those who were released included Talib Beg, Ibrar, Kamran, Abdus Sattar, Abdul Ghani and Amjad.
