Investigation concludes: Youth's death at Services Hospital linked to Naegleria

In a devastating turn of events, the cause of death for a young individual at Services Hospital has been officially confirmed as Naegleria A, according to a report released by a four-member committee commissioned by the Health Department. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Mustafa Shafiq, tragically lost his life within the hospital premises.

Responding swiftly to this unfortunate incident, the Health Department took immediate action by establishing a four-member investigation committee, led by Prof. Sobia Qazi, to examine the circumstances surrounding Mustafa Shafiq's demise. The committee, after a thorough assessment, concluded that Naegleria A was the primary factor contributing to his death.

Although Mustafa Shafiq received appropriate medical attention and care, his condition deteriorated rapidly, ultimately resulting in his untimely passing.
