Armed robbers held hostage an SHO and his squad in Kashmore district of Sindh province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

According to sources in the police, armed robbers abducted Kashmore SHO Gul Mohammad Mehr when the was in field to secure the release of a kidnapped child, Farhan Soomro.

The sources said the SHO informed his brother about his abduction over the phone

The robbers also raised the demand for ransom. SHO Gul sustained injuries in an encounter with the robbers some time ago.
