A female employee of Karachi Deputy Commissioner Malir’s office has been arrested for allegedly taking a bribe, reported the 24News|HD TV channel.  

A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing the senior clerk Shabana Kunwal taking a bribe from the visitors.     

Reacting to the viral video, the anti-corruption department staff arrested her and registered a case against her and another employee under corruption charges. A team was also formed by the anti-corruption department to arrest her accomplice.

The Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and sought a report in this regard. The department has started investigations.
